This time, it’s personal. Students from the Design Department at the Academy of Art in Szczecin are showcasing their graduation projects as part of the CLASS OF 2024 exhibition at the Klokgebouw. We invite you to join us in discovering the future of design, one unique perspective at a time.

That's our first

The Design Department of the Academy of Art in Szczecin is participating in Dutch Design Week for the first time. As we celebrate the five-year anniversary of our department, this represents our most international opportunity yet to engage with a broad spectrum of experts and design enthusiasts.

We invite you to explore graduation projects from our three specialties: visual communication, product design, and fashion design. The exhibition features both bachelor’s and master’s graduates, including the following participants: Kornelia Biały, Sara Brzostek, Daria Dembicka, Dawid Fik, Julia Galewicz, Julia Łyżwińska, and Marta Murawska. Their work represents a humanistic and holistic approach to design, with a focus on community, social issues, and critical perspectives.

A common thread across all the projects is a unique, personal approach to the design process. It’s a celebration of the diversity of voices in contemporary design.

It's personal.

About Design Department Academy of Art in Szczecin

In the Design Department at the Academy of Art in Szczecin, we combine practical design skills with a theoretical approach and new media art modules. Alongside traditional craftsmanship and pushing technological boundaries, students explore concepts related to critical and speculative design.
