Product Development is the only academic program in Belgium, hosting approx 550 students and 30 researchers. This is part of the Faculty of Design Sciences at the University of Antwerp, that also hosts Conservation & Restoration, (Interior)Architecture, Urban Development.
Award winning works
In this part of the expo, an anthology of recent graduation and research works are shown where design is making a difference. This includes personalised healthcare, ergonomic support for harbour personnel and more!
Celebrating slowness & contemplation
The IxD (Interaction Design) project is an annual design exercise in the first-year Master’s Programme of Product Development at the University of Antwerp. This exhibition features a selection of three concepts developed by master students for the IxD project that advocate an interaction that celebrates slowness, contemplation, sobriety, physicality and tactility.
