Starting with the most recent edition, Dutch Design Week selects an annual charity to which event attendees can donate during ticket checkout. Encouraging those who can spare a little to give to those who need it most.

Stichting VluchtelingenWerk Nederland

This year, the chosen charity was the Stichting VluchtelingenWerk Nederland. Dutch Design Week holds the organisation in high regard and hopes that every contribution can help support a better future for refugees. Donations were made via the ticket shop, and you responded enthusiastically! This past week, the total amount was officially handed over.

Your donation contributes to:

• Individual assistance with the asylum process
• Reuniting torn-apart families
• Job and career coaching
• Lobbying for more humane policies in the Netherlands and Europe

Refugee Team Eindhoven and Wasbeer & Pauw

Dutch Design Week also partnered with organisations such as Wasbeer & Pauw and Refugee Team Eindhoven. Through these partnerships, refugees are given opportunities to gain work experience as volunteers during Dutch Design Week, while also expanding their networks in Eindhoven.

Cultuur Inclusief Eindhoven

Alongside these initiatives, Dutch Design Week supports Cultuur Inclusief Eindhoven each year. This action provided 500 tickets to low-income residents of Eindhoven, ensuring that Dutch Design Week remains accessible through discounted tickets.
